City of Joondalup rules

The City of Joondalup's retaining walls fact sheet says a building permit isn't required when a wall retains no more than 0.5 m and meets its other conditions. Walls across a boundary need form BA20 and an agreement between neighbours, and a wall more than 0.5 m high that isn't next to the boundary may need a 1.6 m privacy screen.
